broken ring lands in cylinder 4. motor lasted a year with the big turbo. 59,890 miles on the car. going to stroke it to 2.3 from speed performance. it’ll be a forged and keyed crank, manley rods and mahle pistons both forged with mountune bearings. i’ll be doing a balance shaft delete, steel single mass flywheel and new clutch, all new oem accessories, new timing components, new seals, mountune hoses and i’ll be turning on water methanol injection. it’s gonna be fun and expensive. AND FAST...

Holy shit! Your a hero. Also, that picture gives me such anxiety. If it we're me, I wouldn't even know where to start.

That sounds awesome! Will you use a generic methonal injection or a focus specific product?

Will you increase compression

How much power was it making before it blew?
How big is big?

Wow. What were you making before it let go? Yee haw that's gonna rock

I would assume it would be stock compression or less. Increasing compression on a built turbo engine is not the way to go.

Yeah, but the custom pistons change that a bit?

That’s more for strength. ST pistons are kind of weak.
